No matter how many adjectives penned, there is no way of doing justice to or coming anywhere close to adequately describing this icy white continent. The reality is that Antarctica defies description, like an otherworldly dream that you fumble to provide a narrative for, knowing all at once that any attempt will be in vain. Demanding silence, it is a place that quite simply needs to be experienced to be understood, it can not be framed by language. So I will stop here and simply say, if there is any way you can go, do it; go visit this wild and magical place ruled by penguins and seals. It will make your life infinitely richer knowing that such a frontier exists at the bottom of our Earth; and knowing that you have been there – with your eyes open.
